The Khaitan School celebrated Vigilance awareness week (30th October – 4th November, 2017), commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on 31st October. In order to create an awareness among school students on the ill effects of corruption, a number of activities were conducted in the school premises.A slogan writing competition was conducted for classes VI-VIII on the topic ‘Corruption free India’, in which students displayed their artistic skills.
A quiz on moral values was organized for classes VI-VIII. Students participated enthusiastically thereby exhibiting and enhancing their knowledge in moral values.An elocution competition was conducted for student of classes of IX-XII on ‘How value education can contribute in controlling corruption’In addition, an essay writing competition was also organized wherein students expressed their opinions on ‘Role of IT in making India corruption free’
An integrity club was created in the school to sensitize students about ethical values and their moral responsibility towards peers and people around them. An integrity ledge was also administered by the students and teachers in the assembly on 30th October, 2017. A street play on ‘The ill effects of corruption’ was also displayed by senior students.
Principal Mrs. D Kaur congratulated the students and stressed upon the need for a corruption free India.All the activities were conducted with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm by the students of the school.
