LaLiga Football Schools ,arguably the best sports league in the world, conducted a football workshop on 1st August 2019 for the students of primary as well as senior wing. The specially curated football training and engagement sessions were executed through UEFA licensed International coach, Pedro Miguel Capela and his team of certified domestic coaches, Mohd. Sabir, Rohan Wasal and Aasim.The sixty minute work shop for each group had drills to enhance the agility , passing and dribbling skills of the students. It provided a one-of-a-kind platform for our students to learn the game. They brought a new dimension to the implementation of game ideas which has benefitted the students immensely.
A Japanese delegation visited The Khaitan School ,Noida from 15 th July to 17 th July 2019. The purpose of the delegation was to teach Japanese songs to the students of senior school.Mrs Atsuko Arai Sensei was accompanied by Ms Tomoki and Mr. Bhupinder Verma ( an interpreter) as a part of this delegation. Twenty students of our school were trained to understand and sing three Japanese songs. The classes went on for three days and gave a good exposure of Japanese culture and traditions to the students.These students were trained to perform in the Japanese festival scheduled to be held in the month of November in Delhi.
“The EduFun Trip to the US (Orlando, Niagara Falls and the NY City) was conducted in the most organised manner. The students had a lifetime experience interacting with Astronauts, Scientist and Technologists at NASA. The other fun and adventurous activities brought the best in all of us.The trip was a great learning experience for all memorable and enjoyable.
Renowned Odissi dancer Padmashree Ranjana Gauhar accompanied by Shri Pradeep Moharana on Mardal. Shri Saroj Mohanty as a Vocalist and her disciple from West Indies, Vinod Kevin Bachan conducted a captivating odissi dance workshop at The Khaitan School auditorium.
Nine students of ‘Sainte Marie Bastide’ School Bordeaux, France along with their teachers Monsieur Frederic Tabbi and Monsieur Benjamin Guerin were given a warm Indian welcome by the students of TKS. They were hosted by Indian Families who made them feel comfortable and welcomed. The French students interacted with TKS students which enabled them to learn more about our rich Indian culture, music and art forms. The French group enjoyed a fun- filled tour to Taj Mahal, the epitome of Love.
The Khaitan School hosted a musical workshop conducted by the well known Japanese Singer, Musician and Music Therapist Ms. Atsuko Arai and Ms. Tomoki Tazawa on 21st February 2019. Students of The Khaitan music choir presented a Raag based song and Tarana to honour the guest. Ms Atsuko sensei (teacher) helped student learn the de-stressing through the power of music and explained about the cure of Dementia patients aged 80+ with the help of music therapy. She also gave notes on games, music and songs to the students.
TKS students had visits to three schools, Narita Junior High School, HoseiDaini High School, Kawasaki and Kazo High School in Japan, with events highlighting the rich Japanese and India Culture, dance performances, cultural presentations, tea making ceremony, calligraphy sessions, Harp instruments performances, interactive sessions and greenhouse cultivation visits etced for the remaining commute.
A performance of the Shanghai traditional Art drummers from China was held in the school auditorium on 3rd December 2018. The group started their performance by nurturing the dream for the development of cultural industry and cultural exchange between China and foreign countries. It aims to have far reaching impact on China’s traditional culture. This group has won many awards with over 10,000 performances in their home country and abroad.
The students of The Khaitan School, accompanied by French teacher Ms. Shashi Gupta, went to Bordeaux Sainte Marie Bastide, France from 3rd April to 14th April 2018. Founded in 1912, the architecture of the school was magnificent. TKS school children were hosted in Bordeaux with families of school children there.
