India is a land of ‘Unity in Diversity’. The steep mountain ranges, vast seas, large river-irrigated lands, countless rivers and streams, dark forests and sandy desserts have adorned India with an exceptional diversity. We have numerous races, castes, creeds, religions and languages.On 3rd May 2018, Aravalli House hosted a special assembly on Sadbhavna Diwas or Harmony Day.
The idea of organizing the assembly was to inflame the spirit of oneness in the students. The students presented an array of interesting programmes. The programme commenced with the thought for the day by Samridhi of class II-E.Thereafter, Akul of class V-B updated the students with the recent happenings around the globe followed by a talk on the importance of celebrating Sadbhvana Diwas. A soulful poem was recited by Aarohi of class IV-B to spread the message of goodwill and harmony among all. A thought provoking street play was enacted on the stage conveying the relevant message ‘ stop pollution and think of a solution’. The students also took a pledge to keep their surroundings clean.The assembly ended with Madam Headmistress, Mrs.Seema Khurana congratulating the students on putting up such a heart-warming show. She motivated the students to develop the value of peace and understanding amongst all. The assembly was concluded with the rendition of National Anthem.
