Drama/ Theatre Teacher (Senior Wing)

Job Description –

1. Teaching Drama to children of classes 6th – 12th.
2. Supporting students in independent performance-related projects.
3. Promoting an inclusive and visible theatre community within the school that challenges students with a range of diverse and relevant projects and performances
4. Organise/ coordinate school events related to Theatre
5. To participate in Parent Teacher Meetings and to network with parents.
6. To participate in department, form and school staff meetings and to implement practices decided upon.

Candidate Profile –

1. Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Drama/Theatre.
2. Familiarity and experience with a variety of theatre styles and traditions.
3. Desire to collaborate across disciplines with music, art, and other academic departments.
4. Active in theatre communities.
5. Relevant experience as Drama facilitator
