Recently the students of Class 11 and 12 attended a career counselling session by Mr. Jitin Chawla at the auditorium of The Khaitan School, Noida.
The workshop conducted by Mr. Jitin Chawla commenced with case studies and practical examples. He actively engaged with the students and inquired about their concerns regarding career choices. Mr. Chawla emphasized the changing global scenario, where certain career options are gaining popularity while others are becoming obsolete. He further emphasized the significance of skill development over acquiring degrees in today’s world.
In addition, Mr. Chawla highlighted the importance of studying in Class XI and not just limiting one’s focus to X and XII. He also stressed the importance of building a strong profile, particularly for students aiming to pursue education abroad. Mr. Chawla also introduced some unconventional career options and lesser-known fields such as Computational Biology and Fraud Examiner.
Finally, Mr. Chawla answered students’ queries, gathered their feedback, and extended an invitation to seek further guidance if required. Students found the workshop informative and beneficial, as they gained a plethora of insights about career options.
