In the spirit of Dussehra, the festival that symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, the young talents of Prep F at The Khaitan School came together on October 18, 2023, to present a special assembly that left an indelible mark on everyone’s hearts.
The assembly began with a serene morning prayer, “Malik Karo,” creating a harmonious ambiance and setting the tone for the day’s festivities. As the melodious voices of the young learners filled the assembly hall, a sense of peace and serenity enveloped the audience.
The heart of the assembly was undoubtedly the choir’s rendition of the epic Ram Katha, where they sang the enchanting words of “Suno, suno bhai suno suno.” Each character from the beloved Ramayana took to the stage, bringing the story to life through role-playing. The dedication and enthusiasm exhibited by these little actors were nothing short of remarkable. Their portrayal of Lord Rama, Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman showcased not only their acting skills but also their deep understanding of the narrative.
As the story of Lord Rama unfolded, the assembly reached its zenith with a joyous dance performance. The children celebrated the return of Lord Rama, Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman with a spirited dance on the famous song, “Ram ji ki nikli sawari.” What made this performance even more heartwarming was the inclusion of children from other sections of Prep, who joined in the celebration with enthusiasm and unity.
