On August 9, 2023, the students of class II-G organised the Class Assembly with great fervour and enthusiasm. The assembly was held in the AV Hall in the presence of teachers and students of Class 2 A and 2B as audience.
The assembly’s learning objectives were as follows:
To boost students’ performance and speaking skills in front of an audience.
To give students a stage on which to display their abilities and talents in different domains.
To motivate the students to interact with their classmates in a constructive manner, inculcating an environment for positive peer interaction.
To encourage among students the practise of reflecting on one’s experiences in the classroom and current events.

The main events and proceedings of the assembly were as follows:
Morning Prayer: The comperes welcomed everyone to the assembly and opened the floor by calling on the choir to lead the morning prayer.
Thought for the Day: The morning prayer was followed by a student sharing an insightful and inspiring thought for the day.
Patriotic Song: Keeping with the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, the students presented a melodious rendition of the patriotic song ‘Saare Jahan Se Achchha.’
Taekwondo: This was followed by students showcasing their taekwondo moves on stage to teach their peers the importance of fitness and self-defence training.
Song: The melodious momentum of the class assembly was taken further by another beautiful performance of the song ‘500 miles’ by the students.
General Awareness: One of the students presented interesting facts of general awareness to the audience to encourage everyone to be curious about their surroundings and the world.
Dance: In line with the patriotic theme, the assembly concluded with an energetic performance by the students on the song ‘Ye Desh Hai Veer Jawanon Ka.’
Conclusion: To bring the assembly to a close, everyone paid respect to the nation through the rendition of the National Anthem. Overall, the event went off smoothly and gave the students a feeling of accomplishment.
