On July 13th, 2023, a vibrant and enthusiastic class assembly took place at The Khaitan School, organized by the students of Class 2 D. The venue for this exciting event was the A Block Amphitheatre, and the audience included students from sections F and G of Class 2, along with the Head of Junior School (HOJS) and teachers. The assembly served multiple learning objectives, focusing on the holistic development of the students.
Learning Objectives:
- 1. Confidence-building: The assembly aimed to help students develop confidence in themselves and their abilities. By participating in various activities and presenting in front of their peers and teachers, the students were encouraged to overcome stage fright and speak with assurance.

The class assembly took a departure from the usual format of two speakers. Multiple students had the opportunity to be speakers and played pivotal roles in making the event a grand success. The assembly commenced with a warm welcome extended to the audience, followed by a soulful prayer presented by the class choir.
After the prayer, students took turns to present their reflections on different subjects, particularly in Hindi. The heartfelt expressions of their learning experiences were met with admiration and encouragement. Following this, the students recited a captivating poem titled ‘Khel,’ showcasing their proficiency in poetic expression.
The assembly also incorporated physical activities to promote physical fitness and demonstrate talents in sports. Yoga was an essential part of the event, with students showcasing various yoga asanas. Some students demonstrated impressive middle and front splits, leaving the audience in awe of their flexibility and dedication.
The martial arts segment featured Taekwondo performances, where students demonstrated different kicks and actions. This display of discipline and skill highlighted the importance of sports in nurturing a well-rounded personality.
