Commerce Students Excel at Inter-School Commbuzz Competition

 

 

The Commerce students of The Khaitan School showcased their exceptional skills and knowledge at the Inter-School Commbuzz Competition, held at Kothari International School. The competition brought together some of the brightest minds from 20 schools across Noida and Greater Noida, making it a prestigious and challenging event.

 

Four dedicated teams from The Khaitan School, each comprising three students from Class XII, participated in the competition. The students had been diligently preparing for weeks, honing their research abilities, presentation skills, and understanding of various aspects of the commerce world. Their hard work and commitment were evident as they competed in two distinct categories: ‘Retro Revive’ and ‘Crossfire’.

 

Retro Revive: A Platform for Creativity and Innovation

 

Two teams participated in the ‘Retro Revive’ category, which required students to creatively present and revive old business models with a modern twist. This event challenged their creativity, analytical thinking, and presentation skills. The students impressed the judges with their innovative ideas and thorough research, ultimately securing the second and third positions. These achievements underscored their ability to think outside the box and adapt historical business concepts to contemporary markets.

Crossfire: Mastering the Art of Debate

 

The other two teams competed in ‘Crossfire’, a rigorous debate competition that tested their knowledge of current economic issues, critical thinking, and public speaking abilities. The teams demonstrated strong arguments, well-researched points, and effective rebuttals. Although they did not place in the top three, their participation in ‘Crossfire’ was a valuable learning experience, enhancing their debating skills and boosting their confidence.

The success of the students was made possible by the unwavering support and guidance of their mentors, Ms. Tanu Chhabra (HOD Commerce) and Ms. Sushma Das (PGT Economics). Their dedication to the students’ growth and their expert coaching played a crucial role in the teams’ impressive performances.

Participating in the Commbuzz Competition provided the students with an excellent opportunity to learn from their peers and refine their skills. It also gave them a strong platform to grow both as individuals and as team members.
