33 interactors and 8 dance students accompanied by Interact Club in charge Mrs.Bindu Gupta and Music & Drama HOD, Mrs Manju Wazir went to GL Bajaj Institute of Research and Management, Greater Noida to attend DILA (District Interact Leadership Assembly) ‘Me to We’ on 16th Oct.’19 wherein 1200 interactors from 40 schools of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Sonipat participated. New team of DIR (District Interact Representative) and 16 ZIR (Zonal interact representative) were pinned with badges and rested with their responsibilities by the District Governor, Deepak Gupta and other dignitaries. Simone Singh of class XI-B, Joint Secretary, Interact Club was selected as the DIR and Tanishka Khattar of class XI-D, Secretary, Interact Club was selected as the ZIR. In her acceptance address Simone gave the assurance of discharging her duties with full honesty and sincerity and promised to give her 100% in working towards the betterment and upliftment of the society, thus keeping up to the theme of the event ‘Me to We.’ Dance students trained under Mrs.Manju Wazir performed a classical kathak group dance which was well appreciated. There were performances of dances, orchestra and rhythmic skipping which left the audience spell-bound. Motivational speaker Mr GV Rao captivated the audience with his audio-visual interactive session on the topic ‘Run for Fun to Win.’ The programme culminated with a short jam-session of songs based on brotherhood, harmony and unity. A couple of new projects were suggested by the dignitaries to be pursued during this Rotary year. All the participants were given the participation certificates and a snack box at the end of the programme. Overall the experience was fulfilling and a good learning exposure for the interactors.
