The recently concluded Interschool Table Tennis Competition held at Indraprastha Global School, Sector 93B, Noida, witnessed an impressive display of skill and determination from young players across various age categories. The event, which took place on the 22nd and 23rd of August 2023, not only showcased the competitive spirit of the participants but also highlighted the exceptional talent that exists in the world of table tennis.
Among the standout performers of the tournament were The Khaitan School’s Garv Singla, Manit Bhatt, and Darsh Dubey, who showcased their prowess on the table tennis court and left a mark with their remarkable achievements.
Garv Singla, a student of 8B at Indraprastha Global School, participated in both the U-15 and U-17 categories of the competition. His dedication and hard work bore fruit as he secured the Runner-up trophy in the U-17 category, demonstrating his skill and composure in high-pressure situations. Not stopping there, Garv also clinched the 2nd Runner-up position in the U-15 category, showcasing his versatility and consistency across different age groups.
Manit Bhatt, a promising player from 7F, exhibited exceptional talent by participating in three different categories: U13, U-15, and U-17. His determination and skill were truly on display as he earned the gold medal in the U13 category, marking a significant achievement at such a young age. Manit’s prowess extended beyond the U13 group, as he claimed the Runner-up position in both the U-15 and U-17 categories, solidifying his status as a multi-talented player with a bright future in the sport.
The youngest among the trio, Darsh Dubey, a student of 6D, competed in the under 13 category. Despite his age, Darsh showcased impressive tenacity and sportsmanship throughout the competition. His dedication paid off as he secured the second runner-up trophy in the U13 category, signaling his potential for growth and success in the coming years.
