Education is a collaborative effort between students, parents, and educators. Recognizing this, The Khaitan School organized a Triangulated Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) on September 2nd, 2023, for students in classes VI to VIII. This conference provided a platform for parents to engage with teachers, discuss their children’s progress, and contribute to their holistic development.
Empowering Through Triangulated PTC
The Triangulated PTC at The Khaitan School proved to be an excellent medium for fostering stronger bonds between parents and teachers. It facilitated discussions about students’ strengths and areas for improvement. This dialogue helps create a comprehensive understanding of each child’s educational journey, ensuring that they receive the necessary support both at school and home.
Showcasing Hunar Programmes
Beyond discussing academic progress, the school organized an exhibition of various Hunar Programmes to showcase students’ talents and creativity. These programs, such as Chef-o-mania, Eco warriors, Robotics, Dharohar, Art and Sculpture, Classical and Western music, provide students with opportunities to explore their interests and hone their skills.
One remarkable aspect of this exhibition was its purpose – to support underprivileged communities through the Community Outreach Programme. The items displayed at the stalls were sold at minimal costs, allowing parents and attendees to purchase unique products created by the students. This not only showcased the students’ talents but also raised funds for a noble cause.
Community Outreach and Empathy
The Khaitan School’s commitment to community outreach was evident in the success of this event. The substantial collection from the exhibition will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate. This initiative demonstrates the school’s dedication to instilling empathy and responsibility in its students.
Health and Wellness Initiatives
In addition to fostering community engagement, the school also prioritized the health and wellness of its students and their families. In collaboration with Rotary Club Noida and Tirupati Eye Care, Noida, the school organized a blood donation camp and provided eye and dental checkups on the premises. This holistic approach to education emphasizes the importance of physical well-being alongside academic excellence.
Acknowledging Contributions
The Officiating Principal of The Khaitan School, Mr. Sajeev P. Paruvanani, and the Head of Middle School, Ms. Pooja Singh, inaugurated the event, highlighting the school’s commitment to such initiatives. The presence of an efficient team of doctors and staff members made the health checkup and blood donation process smooth and effective.
The program concluded with a token of appreciation presented by Mr. Sajeev P. Paruvanani. Certificates of appreciation and refreshments were provided to all blood donors as a mark of gratitude. This act of recognition encourages the school community to continue supporting noble causes.
