The Khaitan School, Noida, celebrated Hindi Week from 26th July’21 to 31st July’21. Various workshops were organised to equip the students with the knowledge of the literary works of famous Indian authors, poets and playwrights.

On 26th July, a workshop on Sanskrit Shlokas was organized to familiarize students with the evolution of Hindi language in India. On the second day of the celebration, the rules of Doha and song writing were taught to students. They also became acquainted with the different genres of Hindi poetry.

Our guest resource person, Mr. Rajneesh Joshi, conducted a workshop on ‘Sansmaran’ and various styles of literary writings on 28th July’21. Students got the opportunity to discover life and works of the great novelist Munshi Premchand during the workshop – “Munshi Premchand- A motivation for GenZ”.

Our guest speaker, Mr. Nitesh Tiwari, also spoke about the importance of Hindi language and literature on the last day of the celebration.

It was a pleasure to see students participate enthusiastically in all the events. A carefully curated exposure to the vast collection of Hindi poetry and literature during these workshops enabled the young minds to better appreciate our Indian culture and heritage, and take pride in the same.
