Head of Junior School
Ten of our students (along with HOD Music and Dance) participated in a cultural exchange program and the ‘Namaste India’ Festival in Japan (Tokyo and Nara City). They visited Nara Gakuen Tomigaoka School which was a wonderful experience for our students who got a feel for an international school. They performed a Kathak dance on Japanese folk song which taught them cultural integration and an appreciation of a different culture. As with any international engagements, one ends up making friends across borders which could have a profound influence on one’s life. We are confident that engagements like these have a deep, positive impact on the lives of all children that take part in such endeavors.
Nine students of ‘Sainte Marie Bastide’ School Bordeaux, France along with two of their teachers, were given a warm Indian welcome by our students. They were hosted by our students’ families thereby allowing each other to explore new cultures, deepen international engagements and form bonds that go beyond borders. The French students interacted with our students which enabled them to learn more about our rich Indian culture, music and art forms. The French group enjoyed a fun- filled tour to Taj Mahal, the epitome of Love.
