Intersection Competition

Play your way to stay fit

Exercise is just not confined to sitting at one place on a mat and following the same regime for days on end with the same equipment. It can be amazingly creative by pushing the boundaries a little, by exploring things at home so as to use them as props to work out, with elan!

To motivate students to follow a healthy lifestyle and make the best out of the current situation, The Khaitan School organized an online ‘ Intersection Stay healthy and fit Competition for the students of Classes I and II on 24th August 2020. The students were given themes to showcase their fitness mantra.

The theme for Class I was: ‘My workout, My way’

The students were shown ways of how to use household items to exercise at home. These exercises were practised using household objects, which are  safe and easily available.

The theme for Class II was: ‘Yoga is a way of life…Let’s do it right!’

The students were guided to practise safe yoga asanas.

The students participated enthusiastically and uploaded their photographs, on the theme provided, on the Padlet link shared by the teacher. A photograph is incomplete without its description. Hence, the students came up with  catchy slogans or taglines for their photographs like- “Your body hears everything that your mind says”, “Stretch higher…sky is the limit”.

This competition was unique in its ideation and creativity .Our students participated with a lot of enthusiasm and the presentations were aesthetically done. The Padlets of each section were designed so well, it was hard for the Jury to select the winner. Head of the Junior School, Ms. Seema Khurana announced the results and lauded the efforts of all the participants.
