The journey to the final was nothing short of exhilarating. On September 4th, 2023, Aravali and Nilgiri House students engaged in an intense sporting encounter, while Meghalaya and Shiwalik Houses showcased their cricketing prowess. These preliminary matches set the stage for the ultimate showdown, with Shiwalik and Meghalaya emerging as the contenders for the championship.

In the final match on September 11th, Shiwalik House won the toss and decided to set a challenging target by batting first. This bold decision signaled their intent to dominate the match and secure the coveted title.

Shiwalik House opened their innings with unwavering determination, accumulating an imposing total of 71 runs off 7 overs. The star of the show was Aarav Rai, whose scintillating innings of 34 runs off just 18 balls left an indelible mark on the match. His aggressive yet precise batting style thrilled the spectators and set a high bar for Meghalaya House to chase.

In the second innings, Meghalaya House, in pursuit of the target, fought valiantly. Nilgiri House, scoring 62 runs off 7 overs, displayed remarkable determination. Ayushman Joshi, the highest scorer for Nilgiri House with 17 runs off just 8 balls, provided a glimmer of hope.


However, in the end, it was Shiwalik House that emerged victorious, winning the match by a margin of 9 runs. Their exceptional performance in the first innings played a pivotal role in securing the championship.
