The student and parent orientation programme for Class XI for session 2021-22 was conducted on 24th April, 2021.
The virtual programme started at 11 AM, with clock-work precision. It commenced with a soulful prayer, sung by the students of various classes. The ‘vandana’ was followed by the Principal, Mrs Rina Singh’s address who pointed out that in an anomalous situation like the one we are going through presently, one needs to stay resilient and look at the brighter side of things by making optimum use of the NEP’s trendsetting vision and its essential flexibility. Madam’s address was followed by the presentation of the Head of the Senior School, Mr Sajeev Philip, who took all through the assessment patterns leaving nothing to the imagination of the session participants. The clarity of the presentation is sure to have helped the learners make informed decisions. The next presentation was that of Dr Neha Dutt, The school counsellor pointed out the need of addressing key emotional issues at this point in time when the learners and their parents too are somewhat perplexed about setting their priorities right and strategize every single move of theirs, because this would definitely be the crucial two years in the lives of the aspiring youngsters whose dreams are as varied as their worries and inhibitions.
The presentations and Madam Principal’s address summed up most of the vital points and more, in a comprehensive manner. The next segment was one in which the Class Teachers of the different Class XI sections, introduced themselves, as well as the subject teachers of the respective section/stream. The Q&A open-floor session was moderated by Mr Amit Mendiratta. Pertinent questions were asked by both the students and parents and were satisfactorily responded to by the Principal, the HOSS and the faculty members too. The entire event was wrapped up with the rendition of the National Anthem.
