To enhance the abilities of our young scientists, the science department organized an online inter house competition .
Students witnessed some amazing science activities by students of Classes VI to VIII. Learning by doing leaves a mark on young minds which becomes an important factor for motivating the students towards science.
We were delighted to have Miss Arpita Sahoo as the judge of this competition. She is an alumnus of our school. Currently, Miss Sahoo is a student at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur. She is enrolled in the BTech-MTech dual degree course.
Students performed science activities using available resources and explained them with concepts and principles. The students were divided into four teams – Team Cosmos, Team Pulsar, Team Zenith and Team Nebula. Judgement was done on the basis of their presentation, confidence, creativity and application.
Team Zenith was declared the winner, Team Pulsar the 1st runner up and Team Cosmos emerged as the 2nd runner up.
