1. Tanisha Sahoo of Class XI of TKS  made her parents and school proud by winning the first prize in All India Online Painting Competition 2020 organised by Kalajivan Multipurpose society. She won a cash prize along with a trophy and certificate.  Making full utilization of this lockdown period during the pandemic situation, Tanisha also tried her painting skills in an online poster making competition organised by “Society for promotion of Science and Technology in India (SPSTI)”. The theme of the poster competition was “ Coronavirus Pandemic – Problems and Solutions”. Tanisha was declared a winner in the category of Classes 9th to 12th.

2. Dhruvi Giri Of Class VII of TKS showcased her creative and literary skills in various competitions and made her parents and school proud.

She participated in an online Book Review Competition organised by Book My Book Library on 14th June and was declared a winner in the kids’ category. She won the prize for a wonderful review of the book “ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.

Not resting her writing skills in the pandemic situation, Dhruvi also participated in an essay writing competition and secured the second prize in her age group. Her essay was titled ‘A day at home’ which described the efforts of Corona Warriors and the feelings of their family members. 

Dhruvi also made it to the local dailies by making beautiful Whatsapp stickers in Hindi to create awareness about the Coronavirus and its prevention.

Well done Dhruvi !!!  


TKS students of Class XI and XII attended an online workshop in the month of June organized by ITM Institute Of Media and Design. The students were given a lot of learning experiences in various topics of designing  and after the session, students were asked to make something based on their learning. About 1400 students from different regions all over India participated in the competition and two students of our school, Astha Shori and Tamanna Datta of Class XI got IInd prize in textile and stencils printing. The School also received a trophy of Appreciation. 

Principal Mrs. D.Kaur congratulated the students and their mentor on the achievement.
