In a spectacular showcase of talent, our students of middle school secured the 3rd position at the prestigious Samagam event, a fusion of two dance forms. The event took place on August 18, 2023 at GD Goenka Global School , and saw participation from 25 schools, each vying for the top honors.
Hunar Bhatia and Keya Kishore, both eighth-graders from 8F, demonstrated their remarkable dance skills and artistic expression on the grand stage of Samagam. The fusion dance performance not only captivated the audience but also impressed the judges with its creativity, synchronization, and emotional depth. Their dedication to their craft was evident, and it earned them a well-deserved spot among the top performers of the event.

The success of Hunar Bhatia and Keya Kishore was not achieved in isolation. Behind their outstanding performance stands the guidance and expertise of Ms. Manju Wazir, the Head of the Music and Dance department at The Khaitan School. Ms. Wazir’s commitment to nurturing young talent and refining their skills was instrumental in shaping the students’ performance.
The fusion of two dance forms requires a unique blend of techniques, rhythms, and storytelling. Hunar Bhatia and Keya Kishore exhibited exceptional adaptability and artistic sensibility in seamlessly merging these elements. Their performance was a testament to the rigorous training and mentoring provided by Ms. Wazir and the entire Music and Dance department.
