A workshop for pre-primary teachers was held on February 24 at The Khaitan School.
Teachers and school counselors, Ms. Reena Babbar and Ms. Pooja Ahuja, engaged in an interactive session. The teachers were instructed that classroom management entails stopping disruptive behavior in its tracks and taking appropriate action. Students learned the importance of setting clear expectations, fostering a positive learning environment, and selecting learning materials and activities carefully.
The counsellors conducted activities that highlighted the inclination for people to point out the faults in others and the value of initially highlighting the students’ best traits for their parents before moving on to discussing their areas for growth. The workshop came to a close with an interactive discussion in which the teachers reflected on the subject under discussion and shared what they had learned.
