On the vibrant morning of April 24th, 2024, the senior Art room at The Khaitan School was transformed into a hub of artistic expression as students from across the senior school participated in the eagerly anticipated Inter-House Painting Competition. It was a day where creativity reigned supreme, and every stroke of the brush told a unique story.
The competition provided a wonderful opportunity for students to break free from the constraints of conventional thinking and explore the boundless realms of their imagination. With each canvas serving as a blank slate, participants unleashed their creativity, allowing their vivid ideas to take shape in vibrant hues and intricate details.
More than just a contest, the Inter-House Painting Competition served as a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents and engage in meaningful dialogue with their peers. Through interaction and collaboration, participants gleaned new insights and perspectives, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and mutual learning.

Central to the competition was the theme of environmental awareness, reminding students of their responsibility to protect and preserve the natural world. By exploring topics such as global warming, cleanliness, and the importance of green initiatives, participants not only honed their artistic skills but also deepened their understanding of pressing environmental issues.
Guiding the competition were esteemed judges from the middle and primary school, including Ms. Payal Singh, Mr. Triptanmay Dutta, Ms. Somona Bhattacharya, and Ms. Japneet Kaur. Their discerning eyes and insightful feedback added a layer of depth to the event, encouraging students to push the boundaries of their creativity and strive for excellence in their artwork.
