On August 28, 2024, the vibrant atmosphere of the Sports Carnival at Fortune World School, Sector-105, was further enriched by an exhilarating Yoga Competition. The event saw participation from ten schools, each showcasing their prowess in various forms of yoga.
The competition featured three distinct categories: Traditional Yoga, Artistic Yoga, and Rhythmic Yogasana. Participants were divided into age groups—Mini Sub Junior, Sub Junior, Junior, and Senior—to highlight their skills across different levels.
A panel of two experienced judges assessed the performances based on key criteria, including technique, alignment, breath control, and overall presentation. The evaluation was thorough, ensuring that the participants’ yoga practices were both technically sound and aesthetically pleasing.
Representing The Khaitan School, Noida, a dedicated team of 28 students competed in the Traditional Yoga category. Their exceptional performances led to an impressive haul of medals:
