Khaitan Fest 2024

With great pleasure and excitement, The Khaitan School organised the third edition of The Khaitan Fest, aptly themed “Comity: Bridging Nature and Communities.” This year’s event promised a spectacular celebration of sustainable development, aimed at strengthening the bonds between nature and communities to ensure a more equitable and harmonious future. 

The festival featured a series of interactive and thought-provoking activities designed to ignite curiosity and inspire discussions on environmental stewardship. Participants from several schools explored ways to harmonise human existence with nature and reflect on sustainable practices for a better tomorrow.

The Senior and Middle school was abuzz with much activity, vibrance and joy. All events in charge and on-duty students made sure that the participating teams got a seamless and flawless experience. 

Over two enriching days, schools competed for the prestigious rolling trophy under a plethora of events namely: Poster Making, pottery, essay writing, Nukkad natak, Robotics, Scratch Programming,  Le Monde Francophone, Indian Classical Dance, TEDxYouth, IT Quiz, AI-Model Presentations,Kavyanjali,Face Painting,Indian Vocal Group Song, Futurepreneurs & Canvas Painting.

To promote inclusivity in the competition, a special category titled “Best Out of Waste” was introduced for CWSN (Children with Special Needs) students.


The inaugural ceremony was graced by the esteemed guests Ms Meenu Sharma,  Ms Sanika Singh, Ms Pavani Joshi, Ms Talwar, Mr. Tarun Bhatt,Ms  Sidhidatri Nayak,Mr Rahul Mishra, MsAnkita Mehrotra, Ms Prachi Agarwal, Ms Sulagna Roy, Principal, Mr Sajeev P Paruvanani, Heads of Senior,Middle, Primary and PrePrimary schools, Ms Anjana Vashishtha, Mr Sachin Sharma, Ms Shalini Kapoor, Ms Kuheli Chaterjee and Ms Ritu Agarwal respectively.


The Rock band trained under the able guidance of Mr. Joshua, presented an electrifying performance on an ever-popular number ‘ Light em up’.

Principal, Mr Sajeev P Paruvanani welcomed the guests and the participating teams along with their accompanying teachers in his formal address.


The closing ceremony started with the opening address of HOSS, Mrs Anjana Vashishtha. A fusion of contemporary western dance forms choreographed under the able guidance of Mr Prateek Guha Roy and a motivational song ‘ Har Subah Nayi’ under the able guidance of Ms Ruba Munshi, Mr Amit Bhatia, Mr Malay Das & Mr Kamlesh Pandey captivated the audience.

Esteemed judges of Day 2 Ms. Shalini Sharma, Mr. Vishal Choudhery & Mr. Rajdeep Mookherjee along with the guest school winners and teachers in charge were present to add colour to the ceremony.


Results of both the day competitions were compiled to ascertain the winner for the overall trophy. Principal, Mr Sajeev P Paruvanani,  HOSS, Ms Anjana Vashishtha and HOMS, Mr Sachin Sharma presented Individual trophies and participant certificates to all the winners.

The prestigious rolling trophy was awarded to the  Vishwa Bharti Public School, Noida, as it excelled in most of the events.

 Beyond competition, the festival elevated awareness about pressing environmental concerns and promoted mutual respect between humanity and the natural world.
