On 12th July 2024, the students of Class 4B held a remarkable assembly on the theme of Nature Conservation in the school auditorium. The event began on a serene note with the prayer ‘Sangachadwam,’ which set a tone of unity and peace, perfectly aligning with the message of the day.
The highlight of the assembly was an inspiring skit based on the life of Amrita Devi, a historical figure known for her courageous stand to protect trees from being cut down by the king for his castle. The students vividly portrayed her unwavering determination and sacrifice, driving home the critical message of environmental preservation. Through their performance, the audience gained a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting nature and the individual actions that can contribute to conservation efforts.
The assembly ended with the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a deep sense of patriotism and responsibility in the students.
To ensure the reach of this important message, the assembly was live-streamed to classes 3 to 5, allowing a wider audience to participate. The event successfully raised awareness about the importance of nature conservation, inspiring students to be more mindful of their actions towards the environment and encouraging them to take active steps to protect it.
