The Khaitan School, Noida, successfully organized a four-day educational excursion to Dharamshala for students of Classes IX and X, offering them a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and recreation. Led by Trip Incharge Mr. Himanshu Joshi, the group of 104 students and 11 teachers embarked on their journey, full of energy and anticipation.

Day 1: Arrival and Warm Welcome
The journey began with a refreshing stop at Murthal, where students enjoyed leisure time and a hearty meal. By 2:00 PM on 26th May, the group reached their destination — the scenic town of Dharamshala. After a smooth check-in process and lunch, students set off on a brisk nature walk in Naddi, soaking in the serenity of the hills and crisp mountain air.
The evening came alive with a specially organized DJ night at the hotel, where students danced with enthusiasm and bonded with peers over music and laughter.
Day 2: Immersion in Culture and Heritage
The second day started with a sense of wonder as students visited the famous Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, the War Memorial, and a peaceful Buddhist Monastery. Each stop offered a unique insight into the cultural, historical, and spiritual essence of the region.
Post-lunch, the group visited a local tea estate, where students witnessed the art of tea cultivation and processing. The day concluded with yet another lively DJ night, a much-awaited highlight that allowed students to unwind and celebrate.

Day 3: Forts and Farewells
On the third day, the group geared up for a historical journey to the majestic Kangra Fort. Students explored the fort’s ancient architecture, learning about its historical significance and the stories etched into its stone walls. After lunch, the group began their return journey at 6:00 PM, reaching the school safely by 6:00 AM on 29th May.
Students were promptly and safely handed over to their parents, bringing a memorable trip to a close.
The Dharamshala excursion was an enriching and joyful experience for all. It offered students a chance to appreciate nature, history, and culture, while also developing independence, camaraderie, and confidence. The trip was incident-free, well-organized, and widely appreciated by both students and parents, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and organizers for their care and dedication.
Trips like these reflect The Khaitan School’s ongoing commitment to learning beyond the classroom, offering students experiences that shape both mind and memory.
