The Interact Club and the Community Outreach Club recently organized a vibrant and successful fundraiser on the 8th and 9th of August 2024, in celebration of Raksha Bandhan. Held on the school premises, the event featured a delightful stall selling handmade and readymade rakhis, as well as delicious cupcakes, attracting a large number of students, teachers, and staff.

Objectives of the Fundraiser
Raise Funds: The primary goal of the sale was to generate funds for the club’s ongoing community outreach projects, which aim to make a positive impact on society.
Celebrate Raksha Bandhan: The event also sought to promote the spirit of Raksha Bandhan within the school community, fostering a sense of togetherness and cultural appreciation.
Student Engagement: By involving students in the planning and execution of the sale, the event provided a meaningful and enjoyable activity, helping them develop organizational and teamwork skills.

Community Response and Success
The fundraiser received an overwhelmingly positive response from students, teachers, and parents. Many praised the quality of the products and expressed support for the noble cause behind the initiative. The funds raised during the sale will be channeled into upcoming community projects, ensuring that the club’s outreach efforts continue to thrive.
This event not only helped raise significant funds but also fostered a strong sense of community and teamwork among the students involved. The teacher in charge, Ms. Bindu Gupta, extended her heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, club members, and supporters who contributed to the event’s success.

This additional effort proved equally successful, and when combined with the earnings from the previous sale, the team managed to collect a total of ₹12,000 in funds.
This initiative not only supported important community projects but also demonstrated the power of collaboration and the spirit of giving within the school community.
