In alignment with CBSE’s anti-tobacco campaign, The Khaitan School recently organized a compelling poster-making activity themed “Say No to Tobacco” for its Class V students. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and to empower young minds to advocate for a healthier lifestyle.

Educating on the Dangers of Tobacco
The event commenced with an informative session, where students learned about the significant dangers associated with tobacco consumption. They were made aware of its links to serious health issues such as cancer, heart disease, and respiratory problems. This foundational knowledge set the stage for the creative work that followed, as students absorbed the critical messages regarding the importance of a tobacco-free life.

Creativity Unleashed
Following the educational session, students eagerly set to work on their posters, channeling their creativity into crafting impactful anti-tobacco messages. The enthusiasm in the room was palpable as they created vivid and engaging designs. Many students utilized strong slogans such as “Tobacco Kills, Choose Life” and “Save Your Lungs, Say No to Tobacco.” The posters featured striking imagery of damaged lungs, broken cigarettes, and crossed-out smoking signs, serving as powerful visual reminders of the risks associated with tobacco use.

A panel of judges evaluated the posters based on creativity, clarity of message, and overall impact. The competition was fierce, showcasing the artistic talents and commitment of all participants. The winners were announced as follows:
