On 24th July 2024, Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar, Delhi, hosted the much-anticipated “Litfest,” organized in collaboration with Hindustan Times. This enriching event, held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, aimed to enhance the learning and literacy skills of students from various schools across the NCR. The Khaitan School, Noida, was represented by two enthusiastic students, Shaurya Yogi from Grade 5 and Indrima Singh from Grade 4, along with their dedicated English teacher, Ms. Tania Sharma.

The event commenced with a warm welcome to the teachers and students from participating schools. The primary focus of the Litfest was to emphasize the importance of storytelling skills in all aspects of life, enhancing curiosity, learning interest, and lesson impact in any subject, not just literature.

The attendees were introduced to different genres such as adventure, thriller, fantasy, comedy, fiction, and nonfiction through an engaging talk show. Each genre came alive, sharing its characteristics and how it captivates readers, providing a delightful experience for all present.

One of the highlights of the event was a fun game of Chinese whispers led by the resource person, Ms. Swetcha Pershad. This activity filled the auditorium with laughter, excitement, and energy. Shaurya Yogi had the opportunity to participate in this game alongside students from various NCR schools.
