On 22nd July 2024, The Khaitan School hosted the “Vidya Daan” event, which was met with great enthusiasm and participation from parents. The primary aim of this event was to create a platform for parents to share their valuable knowledge and life experiences with the children, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse professions, skills, and life lessons.

Five parents volunteered to share their expertise and experiences during the session:
Class 3: One parent presented the topic “Traveling and Learning,” highlighting the educational benefits of exploring new places and cultures.
Class 4: Three parents covered the topics “Conservation of Natural Resources,” “Sources of Energy,” and “Types and Benefits of Sports,” providing students with insights into environmental conservation, energy awareness, and the importance of physical activity.
Class 5: One parent presented “Integrity – Super Skill for Kids,” emphasizing the value of honesty and strong moral principles in everyday life.

Following the presentations, an interactive session was held where students asked questions and engaged in discussions with the parents. This dynamic exchange of ideas encouraged students to think critically and curiously about the topics presented.

Vidya Daan not only enriched the students’ learning experience but also strengthened the bond between the school and the parent community. The event highlighted the importance of parental involvement in education and showcased how collective efforts can significantly enhance the learning process.
The success of Vidya Daan is a testament to the collaborative spirit of The Khaitan School community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who participated and shared their invaluable knowledge with our students. Their contributions have left a lasting impact and have encouraged our students to pursue their interests with renewed vigor.
